Introduction

Mount Miguel is proud to offer a variety of classes for students interested in business and  business-related careers.  All business courses fulfill graduation requirements and/or earn college credit.

Articulation agreements allow you to earn college credit at Grossmont and Cuyamaca Community Colleges.  These formal agreements allow you to gain college credit for the following two-semester business courses if completed with a grade of A or B:

• Accounting
• English for Business
• Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) 
• ROP / Virtual Enterprise (2006)

Earn up to 9 units of college credit by taking business and ROP courses in high school. 

 Additionally, all students completing a minimum of three (3) business courses with a grade of C or better receive a BUSINESS EMPHASIS designation on their final transcript and a gold seal for  your graduation diploma.

BUSINESS PATHWAY DESCRIPTION: 

 Today's business students will be tomorrow's business leaders.  Learn to think analytically and creatively; start developing your management and leadership skills. Mount Miguel High School’s Business Pathways are designed to introduce students to the exciting world of business and formulate a pathway for success. BUSINESS PATHWAYS include the General Business Pathway, the Accounting Pathway and the Hospitatlity and Tourism Management (HTM) Pathway.
