Welcome to the website of Gene Andrews at Gateway Community Day School.  Gateway is an alternative school for those students who meet the criteria to be enrolled. It is a great way for students who are behind in credits to get back on track for graduation. If this is not a possibility, there are other avenues that students can take to meet their educational goals. Gateway's counselor will help the student to establish goals while in school and also future goals upon leaving school.

We offer all core subjects to meet the needs of all levels of education. Each student is designed a contract to meet his/her needs. A subject can be completed in 60 hours with 10 hours of homework. If a student has some classes that are partially completed, we can help the student complete these classes and then move on.

Grades are updated once a week and can be viewed by parents at any time on this website. Students and parents can also request a Progress Report at any time. If you need a letter for court, please contact us a few days before this is needed. This is easily done by contacting Mrs. Morgan (our secretary) at 442-4067 or the student can request this.  Approximately every six weeks, we mail progress reports home.
