"Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Ablert Einstein

Welcome all parents and students!

As the semester begins, I'm very excited about scaring---I mean meeting  this year's students.

As the quote above implies, this class will not be about memorization of random facts. To succeed in this class, students will have to THINK FOR THEMSELVES! This makes chemistry very different many other courses.

Here are some practical tips to making sure your student receives the highest possible grade.

1. Make sure the student has a scientific calculator (see syllabus)
2. Make sure the student has his or her notes in order as they will be collected and graded before each exam.
3. Nearly all questions on quizzes and exams will be from the homework. Students should still have these to use as a study guide. Tutoring is available every day.
4. Make sure you student has no missing assignments. They may come in any time at lunch or after school to receive a list of what they're missing.
