Introduction

 All Physical Education students will be expected to:

  • Dress in the appropriate uniform
  • Be sitting on their numbers for roll call
  • Be respectful of teachers and other students
  • Participate Daily for points
  • Responsible for equipment issued to them by Mt. Miguel

 

Non Suit Policy (NS) A proper P.E. suit consists of a Mt. Miguel Physical Education shirt, shorts or sweats, socks, and appropriate shoes. The uniform must be worn against the skin. No extra shirts or shorts can be worn under P.E. uniform. During the cold weather periods, sweats may be worn in addition to the proper uniform. A non-suit is given to a student that fails to suit up for activity and does not have a parent or doctors note.

 

Course Evaluation- Satisfactory progress must be maintained by the student to remain enrolled in class. Student evaluations will be based on attendance, participation, skills performance, techniques, and written knowledge. Final grade will be determined by the following:

A. Physical Participation:                                                                   60%
B. Effort and Attitude                                                                           15%
C. Skill Performance                                                                          15%
D. Final Exam                                                         10%
      Total                                                                                              100%
