We the people ...

Introduction

"We the people", the first words written in the Constitution of the United States of America, are perhaps the most profound words ever written in order to establish a democracy by the people and for the people.  Learning to cherish our freedoms and defend our liberties is at the heart of this American Government class.  The more we become educated about our democracy, the better we are prepared to preserve those liberties for us and our posterity.
